{"id":692,"date":"2011-12-23T12:02:13","date_gmt":"2011-12-23T11:02:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/philippelanglois.net\/lcd\/?p=692"},"modified":"2014-09-03T10:03:37","modified_gmt":"2014-09-03T08:03:37","slug":"week-end-de-walter-ruttmann-1930","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/philippelanglois.net\/lcd\/?p=692","title":{"rendered":"WEEK-END de Walter Ruttmann (1930)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Le texte et l&#39;extrait sonore ci-apr&egrave;s documentent l&#39;ouvrage de Philippe Langlois, <em>L<a href=\"http:\/\/philippelanglois.net\/lcd\/?p=1004\">es cloches d&#39;Atlantis, musique &eacute;lectroacoustique et cin&eacute;ma arch&eacute;ologie et histoire d&#39;un art sonore<\/a>,<\/em> &eacute;ditions mf, Paris, 1er trimestre 2012.<\/p>\n<p><em>Wochenende<\/em> -Week-End &#8211; est un film sans image r&eacute;alis&eacute; en 1930 &agrave; partir des enregistrements de son premier film sonore <a href=\"http:\/\/philippelanglois.net\/lcd\/?p=668\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Melodie der Welt<\/em><\/a> mont&eacute;s sur la piste optique d&#39;une pellicule de 35mm. Ce film, uniquement sonore donc, diffus&eacute; &eacute;galement &agrave; la radio de Berlin, s&rsquo;adresse aux d&eacute;tracteurs du cin&eacute;ma sonore et constitue une sorte de musique &agrave; programme. Toute l&rsquo;originalit&eacute; de la pi&egrave;ce se r&eacute;sume &agrave; travers cette intention narrative puisqu&rsquo;en effet, une v&eacute;ritable histoire se d&eacute;roule, impliquant la possibilit&eacute; de raconter &agrave; partir d&rsquo;un mat&eacute;riau uniquement sonore. Ruttmann cherche ainsi &agrave; prouver que le son est capable de v&eacute;hiculer autant de sens, sinon plus que l&rsquo;image, si l&rsquo;on ajoute ce que l&rsquo;imaginaire visuel peut apporter et d&eacute;montre ainsi que gr&acirc;ce au son le cin&eacute;ma existe avec une force renouvel&eacute;e, dans une dimension expressive enti&egrave;rement nouvelle.<\/p>\n<p>&laquo;&nbsp;On appelle Week-end un &laquo;&nbsp;film sans images&nbsp;&raquo;, [&hellip;] Ce titre malencontreux a fauss&eacute; l&rsquo;esprit de l&rsquo;&oelig;uvre, les images ne manquent pas, Ruttmann n&rsquo;en avait pas besoin pour ce qu&rsquo;il voulait faire, il a tout simplement utilis&eacute; le son, comme on avait jusqu&rsquo;alors utilis&eacute; l&rsquo;image, et il a parfaitement r&eacute;ussi&nbsp;; il a cr&eacute;&eacute; quelque chose qui n&rsquo;a pas encore de nom, qui est une musique nouvelle, une musique r&eacute;alis&eacute;e avec des moyens appartenant en propre au cin&eacute;ma, et c&rsquo;est pour cette raison qu&rsquo;on a pu dire que Week-End &eacute;tait un film&nbsp;&raquo;
